Accessibility

In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, numerous upgrades have been made to the Gusman Center in recent years to ensure that all patrons, including those with disabilities, enjoy their visit to the theater.

Entrance
The sidewalk at the corner of Flagler Street and NE 2nd Avenue is equipped with curb cuts. The theater’s Flagler Street entrance is wheelchair accessible and there is an automatic, power-assisted door. There are no steps or major inclines from the street into the orchestra level of the auditorium. There is no escalator or elevator to the mezzanine or balconies.

Seating

The orchestra level has 19 wheelchair positions located in rows A, T and U. Some seats are also equipped with removable armrests. All accessible seats may be reserved through Ticketmaster or at the Gusman box office. Please call the box office prior to the day of the performance to ensure that appropriate arrangements are made.

Listening Devices
The theater has 77 assisted-listening devices available for patrons' use at no charge. Please speak to the House Manager upon your arrival to request a device.

Restrooms & Concessions
An ADA accessible, unisex restroom is located at the foot of the grand staircase in the front lobby. Both concession stands are also ADA accessible.

Parking
Disabled-designated parking is available (with the required parking placard) near the entrance to the theater and at other spots along Flagler Street. The Gusman does not have a dedicated parking facility. Nearby garages operated by the Miami Parking Authority and others are equipped with elevators.

Should you require further assistance or wish to contact us regarding ADA matters, please e-mail us or call our administrative office at 305-374-2444 during business hours. If you require assistance the day of the show, please ask for the House Manager and he or she will gladly assist you.
