Majorca-born Concha Buika’s third and latest album, Niña de Fuego, received a 2008 Latin Grammy nomination for Album of the Year. She is one of the most lively and spontaneous artists in the current Spanish musical scene. Buika’s music is a seductive fusion of flamenco with jazz, ranchera, soul and dance rhythms. Teaming up again with producer Javier Limón, she sings songs about love and longing affection.
